CHOOSING LEADERS

In 1970 I had planed an ambitious trip through Central
and south America, visiting about 39 cities in twenty-eight days.
I don't quite finish the trip by reason of health; but in
twenty-five days I saw enough to make my mind wonder. I saw wealthy
people living in beautiful villages behind iron fences and windows
with bars, and at the same time ordinary people going on their business.
walking freely on the streets, going to barrooms, dancing, or bathing in
the beaches and much more.
I wonder who is living a better life, in this breading ground for
Communism, racism, extremism, terrorism and dictators. I was hopping
for the peoples in the north to elect leaders with bright mind and enough
common sense, not ideologists arrogant or extremists.
Unfortunate it looks as if we didn't learn the lesson.
When I was a boy my mother use to tel me; be sweet, you never
catch flies with vinegar, never catch birds playing drums, and must use
cheese as bate to catch rats.
However the world leaders keep being arrogant, use the myth of
power to scattered the game in all directions all over the world, seeding
any fertile ground they found with the cells of terrorism and discontent.
It is time to understand reality; if we have friends they will stand
for us with warnings and advice, even if they have to stay anonymous
in low profile.
But when we make more enemies they will not get involved, just
look the other way because it isn't their problem.
Our leaders must know that a happier society is a more pacific
society with less room for radicalism and extremism. A society that give
no incentive for the breading of communism and intolerance.
However to archive all this is necessary that the people in general
become more tolerant and elect people less arrogant; because a politician
is the mirror of thepeople o elect him.

A Government that take from the poor and give to rich, is

breading discontent, violence and incentives to crime or even worse.
