My father died almost 20 years ago, but I still miss him.  Daddy was a good person who loved me and taught me much.  The one thing I knew was that while he lived, whatever I did, he would support me and be there for me.   Happy Father's Day, Daddy, I love you.

"It doesn't matter who my father was, it matters who I remember him to be"
~ Anne Sexton ~
My daddy left me with so many fond memories...he gave me an appreciation of all kinds of music, but he adored big bands and Dixieland Jazz.  He loved to hunt, but never brought anything home..I suspect it was simply an excuse to play in the woods (-;.  He worked hard and long...I learned my work ethic from him and I've been thankful for that...He gave me my love of learning and the spoken word....He taught me respect for all living things.  I can't tell you how many animals we had and loved growing up...there's so much he gave me....Thank you, Daddy.
"When I was fourteen, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was.  By the time I turned twenty-one, I was astounded by much he had learned in the last seven years."
~ Mark Twain ~
