3D Software Intros & Tutorials
You want to create a nice Landscape
Terragen (Demo) Landscape (Even if Terragen doesn't import 3d object, you
can postprocess your image in Paint Shop or
Photoshop, and add any element you want.
The new version 2, soon to be release will
have a 3D object import feature.)
To create a 3D Object to begin your Scene, you need a 3D Modeler
Modelers : I N T R O S & T U T O R I A L S :
Anim8or (Free) Intro Kirby by M. G.
Wings3D (Free) Intro Place Ville-Marie by D. M.
Doga-L1 (Free) Intro Modeler / Assembler
Amapi (4.5
Free)
Now you want to see your 3D Model ! You need a software with a renderer.
Bryce and Vue have sky and materials presets. Poser have human & animal
figures.
They can also import your .3ds file of Anim8or and Wings3D,
or 3D face .dxf from Doga-L3

*Once the brother of Poser (MetaCreations). Obj from Poser use to import well in Bryce.
The settings for exporting in .obj in Poser are : All the Include checked, the three other
ones, unchecked (Use, Weld, As Morph).
**A less expensive companion to Lightwave. An economic way for movie makers to have
a Lightwave companion on some machines, for half the price. That why anything that come
from Lightwave , import so well in Cinema 4D. For me Cinema 4D have one of the easiest
interface to work with.
