SPECIAL NOTES RE MONTH OF MARCH
2001: Had 21 days with at least some precipitation; Only 33% of
possible sunshine; 17.1" snow 4th-6th= 5th heaviest storm for March; 30.6" total snow= 6th snowiest March in 126 years of NWS records; 5.50" H2O= 6th wettest March; 30.9 degree avg temp= coldest since 1984; highest daily temp. of 51 on 20th was lowest high temp for March since 1971. Quite a month!
