5-31-03: This day, 1998, Tornado created destruction & damage in Mechanicville/Stillwater area, Saratoga Cty., [on Hudson River 25 miles north of Albany] and  in Rensselaer Cty. east of Hudson River. There were also tornados in Broome and Otsego Ctys (Binghamton and Cooperstown areas) with extensive destruction & damage

hvy rain before dawn, then lite 'til 0900; some brightening 'til noon but dark afternoon. 1.70" rain at farm 6/1&2.
