1-8-05: Yesterday, 1/7, NWS hi=35@0246{farm=31.7@0200}, lo=22@2207{farm=21.2@2400}. 45% of possible sunshine (PPS); most welcome sunny, blue sky morning and early pm; overcast came in after 1400.

1-9-05: Yesterday, 1/8, NWS hi=29@2312{farm=25.6@0500}, lo=23@0014{farm=20.1@0200}. No sunshine snowed all day and quite heavily in the morning, with 5-6" at the 'farm' at 1700.

1-10-05: Yesterday,1/9, NWS hi=31@1517{farm=27.8@1400}, lo=23@0856{farm=24.0@0700}. 48% PPS but less at the farm; morning had some sun, afternoon overcast; a little wind.

1-11-05: Yesterday, 1/10, NWS hi=40@1510{farm=36.8@1300}, lo=29@0104{farm=25.4@0200}. 8% PPS, but no sun at the farm; morning very dark with very low cloud ceiling. Where is the winter, clear, blue sky???

1-12-05: Yesterday, 1/11, NWS hi=34@0123{farm=31.1@0100}, lo=25@2400{farm=21.4@2100}. 23% of possible sunshine (PPS); no real full sunshine, just sun through light overcast in AM; increassg overcast in PM.

1-13-05: Yesterday, 1/12, NWS hi=35@2400{farm=33.1@2400}, lo=23@0348{farm=20.0@0400}. No sunshine- nada!; grainy snow before dawn; very light rain with icing until 1500; brief heavy rain 1600; bad day!

1-14-05: Yesterday, 1/3, NWS hi=54@2400{farm=49.5@2300}, lo=35@0646{farm=32.1@0100}. No sunshine; very slow warmup, with greatest in evening; rain in eve into night; heavy ground fog; some day!

1-15-05: Yesterday, 1/14, NWS hi=54@0345{farm=52.6@0400}, lo=24@2400{farm=19.3@2400}. Again, no sunshine; cold front came thru 0400 with dramatic temp drop and heavy rain then wet, heavy snow until 0900.

1-16-05: Yesterday, 1/15, NWS hi=26@1604{farm=23.5@1500}, lo=15@2343{farm=7.6@2400}. Finally some sun at 59% of poss.; no wind & quite pleasant; farm recent water equivalent precip= 1.47"; Jan.= 3.40".

1-17-05: Yesterday, 1/16, NWS hi=26@1503{farm=23.1@1600}, lo=15@0039{farm=7.6@0100}. 14% PPS;  despite the low %age of sunshine, decent day with no wind; note the large difference in the 2 low temperatures.

1-18-05: Yesterday, 1/17, NWS hi=20@1545{farm=18.2@1500}, lo=6@2400{farm=
minus1.3@2400}. 63% of possible sunshine; one inch of fluffy snow before dawn; bright day for a pleasant change; clear, cold night.

1-19-05: Yesterday, 1/18, NWS hi=6@0019{farm=0.4@1600}, lo=minus 4@2400{farm=minus 7.5@2400}. 94% of possible sunshine; a cold day start to finish but with encouraging brightness; windchill not too bad here.

1-20-05: Yesterday,1/19, NWS hi=17@2400{farm=12.8@2400}, lo=
minus 5@0110{farm=minus 8.4@0200} No sunshine and somewhat windy; slow warming all day into evening; unusual to have the high temp at 2400.

1-21-05: Yesterday, 1/20, NWS hi=19@1405{farm=16.5@1400}, lo=3@2400{farm=
minus2.5@2400}. 84% of possible sunshine; a beautiful day for a change; note that today temp went from warm to cold; clr, cld night.

1-22-05: Yesterday, 1/21,  NWS hi=3@1631{farm=
m 0.6@1500}, lo=m 7@2400{farm=m 15.3@2400}. 100% of possible sunshine; clear, gorgeous, sunny day to observe from inside(!); a clear, cold nite.

1-23-05: Yesterday, 1/22, NWS hi=8@2400{farm=8.1@2400},
lo=m 10@0644{farm=m 19.7@0500}. No sunshine; heavy snow began 1330 with m 4 temp; hiatus in snowfall in evening; resumed later; 'blizzard' ahead.

1-24-05: Yesterday, 1/23, NWS hi=12@1250{farm=15.2@1400}, lo=
m 5@2354{farm=m 6.3@2400}. 69% of possible sunshine (more at the farm); 10-12" wind driven snow 1330 22nd to 0700 23rd; overall not bad here

m 16@0611{farm=m 8.2@0700}. 65% of possible sunshine; cold morning but decent afternoon;  little wind; note that NWS temp lower than at farm.

1-26-05: Yesterday, 1/25, NWS hi=23@1513{farm=19.6@1500}, lo=14@0809{farm=6.9@0800}. 88% of possible  sunshine for a very pleasant day after a chill start.

1-27-05: Yesterday, 1/26, NWS  hi=19@1240{farm=16.0@1300}, lo=2@2400{farm=
m 5.7@2400}. No sunshine; snow from before dawn until noon= 3-4"; very light weight; cleared in eve with btfl orange moon rise

1-28-05: Yesterday, 1/27, NWS hi=8@1627{farm=6.9@1600}, lo=
m 7@0750{farm=m 17.9@0600}. 100% of possible sunshine; no wind; a glorious day; obviously cold, however;  clear, cold night again.

1-29-05: Yesterday, 1/28, NWS hi=12@1634{farm=11.7@1600}, lo=
m 16@0738{farm=m 17.6@0700}. 100% sunshine for a glorious windless, blue sky day; new record low for date at Albany NWS [old= m15].

1-30-05: Yesterday,  1/29, NWS hi=22@1723{farm=24.0@1500}, lo=
m 8@0648{farm=m 7.2@0400}. 78% of possible sunshine (PPS); mostly sunny; no wind; pleasant temeratures in afternoon; great relief!

1-31-05: Yesterday, 1/30, NWS hi=33@1538{farm=32.8@1400}, lo=8@0803{farm=9.5@2400}. 75% of poss. sunshine, but more at the farm; really nice, early spring-like aftrnoon; plenty of snow on the grnd howevr
