| Ragtime was established by Leslie Sharp in the early 70's, her foundation sire"RAGS" ASCA Ch.Sharp's Ragnar earned the second Champion title issued by ASCA . My mother Teresa Pollitt (left) aquired her first aussie who was a double "RAGS" grandson, "BUDDY" ASCA Ch. Ragnar's Muddy Buddy (Pictured bottom left) in 1974 thru Leslie who she showed horses with. Eventually, Leslie got out of aussies and sold the kennal name RAGTIME to my mother in 1980. My mother continued to show and breed on a limited basis.When I was old enough I started showing in junior handling. I accomplished regional awards, 500 club status and multiple Best Junior Handler awards in ASCA & AKC . I co-bred my first litter with my mother when I was 12 years old and the first was titled the next year "FUZZ" Ragtimes Pink Rags CDX, DNAcp. I went on to finish my junior handling dog "BROOK" ASCA & AKC Ch. Ragtimes Little Degash Brook and the rest is history. | Ragtime strives to produce physically & mentally sound dogs, that are also beautiful lifelong friends. We have produced multiple titled dogs in all venues in ASCA & AKC including - Top ten conformation dogs in ASCA & AKC - Multiple group winning & placing -Best in specialty show winning - National specialty winners - Award of merit winners - Premier award winners - High in trial in obedience winners - Multiple BOB & BOS winners - BIS, BISS, Ch producing, HOF sires We are very proud of all of our owner handled titles and of all of the people (Co-owners & Buyers) who have put the time and effort into dogs that we have bred to accomplish their goals whatever they may be . We are forever greatful to the families that consider our dogs (Show & Pet quality) part of thier family as we do our own, and we will give our best effort to continue to produce fine australian shepherds well into the future. |
