Bottle Tree Resturant Fishing Angler Hotspots:
The two most productive hotspots here are either the boat jetty or
the mouth of the drain, depending on the season. The most productive
month Feb to late Jun where Silver Sillago [ Sau Chiam ], Chermin,
Barramundi [ Kim Bak Lor or Siakap ] , Sickle Fish [ Chow See ],
Queenfish [ Sam Poh Kong or Talang ] and Stingray [ Hung Hu or Ikan
Pari ] can be caught. The three most common baits use are ragworm,
live prawn and bait fish like Tamban or Mullet which can be easily
caught by casting net if you know how beside the jetty. Or using
fishing rod with Tamban Rig trying casting into the school of bait
fishes and with repeated strike on your you might land yourself a
couple of bait fishes.
The most productive time to fish here is two hours after the tides
started to rise -- two to three after high tides. The rest of the
time you might caught a handful of fish but most of the time you
might land yourself with big plastic bags fish or rubbish flowing
out of the drain during low tide. |
