Benedictine Monks (1979)
A large-scale variation of themes from Bacon
and Creecy, with a characteristically wide perspective frame floating the brush
exultingly in constructions here and there, lanes of light fizz, a golden
mirror, umbrageous lava, blue devils.
Eastern Light (1982)
The
Bride in a state of cinematic
abandonment, which is to say Duchamp’s machine a mere modulation of rose.
Toward Dark (1988)
A very tall figure,
yellow, fantastic architecture of yellow, cascading down into globular
phenomena, and farther down her bright Swatch watch. Opposite another very tall figure, a silver tower
poured right up the canvas, with a luminescent tie.
