Treasure was one of 7 puppies we rescued out of a pile of wood . Some one dumped her mom in the woods just before she had 7 beautiful puppies . this cruel person left her there to fend for herself and to deliver her puppies... She had NO FOOD or WATER only snow and cold... Mom did a wonderful job keeping every one alive..We named mom Lucky as she was LUCKY  we found her... The first pup we pulled out from under the wood pile was named TREASURE as to us she was a true Treasure... We gave each of the pups a name there was Grace ,Otis,Pearl, Arron, Monet and of course our Dottie Dot...
Treasure was adopted to a wonderful and loving family
Treasure always went to work with her dad at the family business. Saddly one day one of the worker backed over Treasure. She was rushed to the vets where she under went surgery to save her life. Treasure was in the hospital for weeks and her mom and dad went to visit her every day. She finally got to come home but the vet did not hold out much hope for her. She had no use of her back legs .. They contacted MSU and was told that she may never regain use in her legs. After weeks of working with her and seeing no improvement Treasure started  going into a depression and was suffering,  her mom and dad made the very painfull decision to have her put to sleep.
Treasure was a very loved puppy and had the very best of every thing...She is sadly missed , and will be forever in our hearts. Treasure will be waiting for us all at the RAINBOW BRIDGE....
Under a pile of wood we found our Treasure ~

A Treasure so rare she was one of a kind ~

With happy brown eyes and a sable coat ~

On a cold March morning who would've guessed ~

With Dottie , Arron , Pearl and the rest ~

Thank God we found you sweet little souls. You wouldn't have lasted much longer that we know ~

You were the Treasure we found in the snow ~

Why your life was so short we'll never know ~ Some Treasures are not meant to be kept. They're just to precious like you sweet pet ~

So off you go to the play ground up above. Happy with your sister. She too was a jewel we didn't get to keep ~

We're not sorry we loved you as we did. Even though you left us with many tears to weep ~

Love is only love if you give it away. And our love will endure till we meet another day ~

Good-by little Treasure we loved you true. Say hi to Dottie we loved her too ~
