I was born in Canada and raised in the United States where I attended Syracuse University in upstate New York. In pursuit of an acting career, I moved to London, England many years ago. Using various pseudonyms, I have performed in cabaret in Bangkok; travelled to Bombay to appear in the Bollywood blockbuster, 'Janbazz'; robotically mimed with Morecombe and Wise; and danced professionally at the top nightclubs of New York City, London, and Amsterdam with the mime/dance group, Shock, which spawned the duo, Tik and Tok. I’ve also appeared as a demon from Hell in the classic cult horror movie 'Hellbound: Hellraiser II'; as a vicious mugger in 'Death Wish III'; and as a whipped cream-wielding performance artist in 'Bert Rigby, You’re a Fool' (directed by Carl Reiner). I have worked as a film critic for the prestigious Film Review Annual; as an assistant casting director for the BBC production of 'The Buddha of Suburbia'; and as a casting director for numerous commercials for British television as well as for MTV's London production of 'The Real World'.
While working as a television presenter, I’ve written the scripts for all of the programs that I’ve appeared in, which include: 'The American Hot 100' (Skytrax TV); 'The Morning Show' and 'Supersonic' (Music Box TV); 'The Small Screen', a film review program for London Weekend Television; 'Hold Tight'; a music show for Granada Television and a live music program, 'The Gig', for London Weekend Television. I also appeared on the movie history program, 'Sprockets' which is currently showing on Sky Television on the Matinee Movies Channel. |
