COCA: TOWN & CASTLE

The town of Coca is located North West of Madrid. The town dates back to the Roman era when it was known by the name Cauca. Little if anything has survived from these times. However, today the small town of Coca is dominated by the castle of the same name.

The impressive fortress of Coca was constructed in the second half of the 15C and is one of the most important castles in Spain.
