Equipment: lots of balls made from screwed up paper, 2 ropes or chalked lines.
Divide into 2 teams, each team lines up along one side of the hall. A few feet in front of them chalk a line (parallel to the wall) - they must not cross this line. There will be a space in the middle, this is "no man's land". Give half the balls to each team.
When the leader shouts "go" each team throws as many snowballs as they can reach at the other team. (They must not enter no man's land.)
At the end of a set time, the teams count up how many snowballs are in their team area (balls in no man's land don't count). The team with the FEWEST snowballs wins. |
