Welcome back for the new school year!
We had eight new guides tonight and hope they all enjoyed themselves. We played a short name learning game, a game of mosquito tag (see games page) then we made diversity bracelets (see activities page) and a smarties activity where we were put in groups and had to tell the rest of the group about ourselves depending on what colour sweets we got.
Tuesday 9th September
We did an "Ice Party" challenge. We had to lift a piece of ice with thread, throw a lifeline to rescue someone from a "frozen lake", work out how long a pace was and then use paces to measure the hall, and we had indoor sledge races!

Fundraising Coffee Afternoon - Saturday 27th, with face painting, side shows, cake and candy, second hand books, videos, CDs and toys.
