ICA Cup '98 港大學社聯會獨立盃(23th, 24th and 26th March)

Each year, A soccer competition, ICA Cup, is organized, which different clubs or societies in HKU can participate. This year, the venue will be King George V Park, opposite to the High Street ghost house.
I will particpate and play for Film Society. We haven't got a goal in the past 2 years (but we do achieved draws (0-0) in 2 or 3 matches), but, we have some new and skilled players this years, so I'm confident that we have the ability to score and even to win.

The leader of the three groups promote to the semi-finals, also, the best runner-up of the 3 groups (Greenwoods, 4 points) was also qualified.

**Squad for Film Society**
Name	Position	Discriptions of the players
(1)Nelson	GK	Nelson Mak, the no. 1 goalkeeper of Film Society. Nobody can replace his position. He was the former no. 1 goalkeeper of F.7 Wisdom of St. Joan of Arc Secondary School. His characteristics are: brave and accurate. He gave unlimited confidence to the defenders because he is a wonderful goalkeeper. He saves and helps the defenders a lot. However, he is too thin and he should eat more to improve/increase his body weight.
(9)Joe	FW	Joe Ng, forward/right wing player, but he prefers to play in left wing now. He is both the manager and the player for Film Society. His characteristics are: good transfer, eager to run. Sometimes, he playes in the field like a mad dog because he always runs with unlimited power. However, he is quite short and sometimes it is hard for him to deal with tall defenders.
(4)Thomas	DF	Thomas Cheng, defender, he is tall and strong. One of his great talents is that he can "MARK" the so-called key-man of the opposite team successfully. So, his position is very important for Film Society.
(15)Elder Kelvin	GK/DF/MF	Elder Kelvin, defender/goalkeeper, he is a good and stable defender. He is tall with good shooting tecnique. The same as Andrew, he can shoot from long distance accurately.
(7)Eric	FW	Hardworking forward player, the former chairman of Film Society.
(10)Kelvin	MF	Skillful midfielder, excellent contoling and passing skill, and also target of the opponents' defenders.
(3)Boris	DF	Another ex-SJA player, stable at the back.
(5)Kenneth	MF	Kenneth Dai, midfielder, he controls the ball very well. Moreover, his transfer to other players is good. Moreover, he always gives efforts in defending. So, he is a wonderful player with both forward and defend. However, he is quite short. It is quite easy for him to deal with this problems because he has good individual technique in controlling the ball.
(6)Captain	DF	Captain, defender. He is tall with good individual technique. He always shouts in the field and therefore he is a good leader in leading the line of defence. Sometime, he can use his head to get score.
