1980 - The Final Bow
Another picture in the gallery has found a home with these, which were found at

I
believe they are photos from the 1980 Olympics in Moscow, the competition that marked the end of Alexeyev's career.
By 1990 he emerged as head coach of the Unified team for a somewhat brief
career ending shortly after the 92 Olympics, I think. But that's another story. As for the story of his
farewell to the competition platform, these pictures speak for themselves. So, without further ado...
