Welcome to my *new* site dedicated to Jamie Dantzscher. She is such a great gymnast and a great person. As you know she trains at the Glider gym in Covina, Ca. Her teammate is of course Vanessa Atler. Jamie is truly a special person.
Jamie first made the national team in 1995, placing 6th in the Junior division. In '96 she placed 7th in the all-around. And in '97 she placed 6th in the Senior division. That would have qualified her for the Worlds, but she was to young. Jamie poses Style, Grace, and Skills.Jamie's gymnastics goals are making a World Championship team, and also going to the olympics. Jamie is on the right track. She now ranks 2nd on the national team and is getting better everyday. Steve Rybacki, her coach, siad she trains better than she competes. If that is true, she must be really awesome, becuase she always looks on.
I wish Jamie the best of luck on her road to Sydney. And also the best of luck on her recovery from her wrist surgery. She was out of the Pacific Alliance Champiosnships, but made a great come back at th Goddwill Games. And she even competed bars there. Jamie is always tough competitor, and always seems like she is enjoying herself. Good luck to ya Jamie.
