For those completely in the dark (SHAME ON YOU!), Mike Milbury is the ex-coach and general manager of my favorite hockey team, the New York Islanders. He's also the COOLEST guy ever! He has no regard for formalities, and he'll tell it like it is to your face without a hint of guilt. He'll also beat you with a shoe if you taunt him enough!
AND THAT'S WHY WE LOVE HIM!



Unfortunately, The Mikeage rarely gets the respect he deserves for being so hard-headed and dedicated to his work. Therefore, this page shall rightly honor "BIG BAD MILBURY" cuz even the roughnecks need a little love (heheheh).

YEARS AS NHL PLAYER: 12 (1975 to 1987 as Boston Bruins defenseman)
YEARS AS COACH: 2 for Boston Bruins (1989 to 1991), and 4 on and off for the New York Islanders (1995 to 1999)
MARITAL STATUS: Was married to Debbie, now married to Ginger
OFFSPRING: 5 kids (Go Mike!): Owen (23), who played hockey for Tufts University; Luke (21), who went to Rollins College with me last year and now goes to school in Colorado and studies Music; Alison (18), whom I've seen a picture of and she looks just like Dad; Caitlin (14), whom I, sadly, have no little anecdotes about; Jake, whom I have even less information about except that his name suddenly popped up with Mike's new marriage (meaning, he's either a stepson or a newborn)
