Junior Seau is a Miami Dolphin

To add some intensity to the defense, Miami recieved a huge player through trade. The Dolphins aquired Junior Seau, the 13 year All Pro from the San Diego Chargers. "Junior Seau needs the Miami Dolphins, more than the Dolphins need Junior Seau." He said in the press confrence last week. Junior will be a welcome addition to the city of Miami and to a team with proven veterans that need his fire and leadership. The Dolphins defense has been victims of late season collapses. The Dolphins hope that Seau will be the answer. They were certainly his first choice and he is looking forward to Oct 27th when the Dolphins play the Chargers on MNF. " I wish them (the Chargers) well, but not on Oct 27th." He said during the press confrence. Seau also noted that he does not have to come to Miami to be the savior. He made it known that the Dolphins are loaded with talent and he thinks Miami was his best chance to get a ring. The draft is coming up on April 26th and 27th. The Dolphins are hoping to fill some needs. The Dolphins did not give up a draft choice this season for Seau. They gave up a late round 2004 draft pick to get Junior Seau along with Junior reconstructoring his contract. Hopefully this will be a great year for the Dolphins as they come into the 2003-2004 season with the best team they have had in years.

Here is a small biography on the history of the Miami Dolphins. Read on....

Terrell Davis was born on October 28, 1972 in San Diego, California to Joe and Kateree Davis. This 5' 11" athlete has won two Super Bowls, rushed for over 7,000 yards in his career, has won Super Bowl and NFL MVP honors. Davis can do it all for the Broncos. He is a strong runningback and is very hard to stop. Terrell has also written a book about his life called, TD: Dreams In Motion.Terrell has 5 brothers, Terry, Bobby, James, Reggie, and Joe. Not only is Terrell one of the NFL's elite, but he is also very unselfish. In Super Bowl 33 against the Falcons, he stepped aside and enjoyed watching others like John Elway and Howard Griffith shine. As long as Terrell is in a Broncos uniform, the Denver Broncos have a chance of getting another title. Davis is not too far away from the Hall Of Fame. Hopefully he will play long enough to get there. Terrell currently resides in Aurora Colorado and is single.

Terrell played college football for the University of Georgia Bulldogs. He didn't have a great college career. Therefore, it caused him to fall all the way down to the 6th round in the 1995 NFL draft. Needing a running game in Denver, Mike Shanahan picked Davis. Terrell didn't expect to make the starting roster.

Without a doubt, Terrell's defining moment was Super Bowl 32. During the two weeks before the Super Bowl, everyone was talking about Green Bay, and their great defense. Terrell went out on the field and won the Super Bowl in his home town. He earned MVP honors for that game. The next season, he rushed for over 2,000 yards. The Broncos became Back 2 Back champs and TD was NFL MVP.

During his free time, Terrell likes to sleep. Terrell is a kid at heart. He has some remote control cars that he plays with. He also likes to play video games. He likes listening to Tupac and lists The Shawshank Redemption as his favorite movie. Terrell says that Applebees is his favorite place to eat.

Terrell has made alot of appearances on TV. He has done Campbells Chunky Soup commercials, has been on Jay Leno and has done commercials for Nike. Because he was labeled as a good role model for kids, Terrell also made an appearance on Sesame Street.

TD hasn't played much the last two seasons due to leg, knee and foot injuries. He worked hard rehabbing to get back to his old playing form. He has accomplished alot in his career. Terrell will be back to his normal MVP form that has made him a star. He has overcome obstacles already in life. Terrell suffers from migraines and has to take medication for them. Playing football with migraines would be hard on a player. Terrell takes it in stride. Super Bowl 32 he gets a migraine and doesn't play the second quarter. Knowing how much his team needed him, and because it was the Super Bowl in his hometown, TD came back into the game after halftime. That shows the greatness of a player. It is what makes Terrell Davis special.
