The P&O liner Oriana
I have a great interest in drawing ocean going vessels of
all types, both real and fictional. I have a particular fondness for the great
Atlantic passenger liners. Every ship is unique in details and texture, which
makes them excellent subjects, and I try to detail them as much as possible,
perhaps bordering the line from what is considered 'Art' to 'Illustration.' I
prefer being 'realistic' over 'artsy.' Below are some selected examples of my

Olympic and Normandie in this fictitious sketch. My rendition of a 'rebuilt' S.S. United States with
modernized superstructure additions and foredeck mounted
