~In The Editor's Noteof The Divine Principle (The Unification Church Holy Book) it is claimed that the Divine Principle is "......encompassing the profound thought of the Orient and based upon Christian beliefs and ideology". Although they profess that Jesus is behind their movement, I'm not sure that even Moonies would claim to be a Christian denomination or sect. They believe rather that Moon himself as the Messiah, is above all religions as the purveyor of Truth for this age. All religions have the same fundamental purpose it is claimed, and Moon is here as the answer to all of them. They really are unconcerned whether others view them as Christian or not. They are much more concerned with whether you are going to sign up or not! They want and believe that all religions will eventually synthesize with Science under the umbrella of Divine Principle. As I have mentioned in other articles, Jesus is seen as having completed only half of man's salvation, whereas Moon has the whole package. Moon himself has stated that "Jesus life was a failure". So, Unificationists in general, are much more concerned with how "you" view Moon than with how they view Jesus.

~The Moonies cannot seriously be called Christian. In no way would they qualify Biblically as Believers and followers of The Lord Jesus Christ. They bear Moon's name and not Jesus'. For them, there is no contradiction as Moon is the "New" Messiah, and comes with Jesus full blessing. What these individuals believe is heretical. One of Jesus last warnings to his disciples was concerning the last days. Jesus gave many clues to watch for as an indicator that the time was near. We see many of these events unfolding before our eyes, but one of Jesus starkest warnings was this one:

Matthew 24:23 "Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not."

~Jesus gave this commandment not once, but twice. What Moonies don't consider at all, is that to obey Moon, it is required of them to disobey Jesus. Most of them undoubtably have never considered the matter in this way, but that is the reality of it. Jesus has given an absolute commandment, there are no loopholes. Jesus did not say "If any one says the Christ has come, believe it not.....Unless it's Rev. Moon!" We cannot consider Jesus' words to be a slip of the tongue, Jesus words were so important, so absolute that he said of them: "Heaven and Earth shall pass away, but my words will never pass away." Words that remain forever, are "Perfect" words. Those were the kinds of words Jesus uttered. So when He provides us with an absolute commandment, and warns us of those who would come, saying they were The Christ, and then tells us that we ARE NOT to believe ANY of them, we had better take note and not disobey Jesus. Moon has nothing but disdain for Christians, despite the Moonie's pleas to the contrary. Moon teaches his followers to love and reach out to Christians, but he also teaches them things like this:

Rev. Moon's Comments On Jesus "Therefore we can say that the life of Jesus was a failure" "The Principle clearly explains that our Blessing has surpassed the standard of bride and bridegroom which Jesus could not accomplish..." "Christianity is teaching that through belief alone you will be saved. That is completely unreasonable. That does not amount to anything. Such nonsensical people are calling Father a heretic." "Jesus, Buddha, Confucius and Muhammad can enter the kingdom of heaven (only)by receiving the True Parents Blessing." (being married by Moon) "That is the true meaning of "to be born again" in true love and True Father." (Moon is The True Father)

~As mentioned previously, the Unification Church has it's own Holy Book called "The Divine Principle". The Divine Principle is the fundamental theology of Sun Myung Moon and is studied and read as the Bible would be. It is shared and spread, as the Bible would be. People are encouraged to accept and live by it's nessage as if it were The Bible. It claims to supercede The Bible as The New Truth. So what is wrong in all this? "It's Not The Bible!". Here's what the Christian Bible says about "Other Gospels"

Galatians 1:8-9 "8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed."

~Paul is giving such a strong admonition here. Notice he doesn't even say "An angel from satan" He says "an angel from heaven" Paul is so secure in the truth of what he is teaching here that he says, "even if an angel of Heaven brings you another gospel Don't Receive It!" Why? There is only one Gospel. The Christian Gospel is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The promise that through belief and faith in Him alone, we have salvation and mercy and forgiveness from God the Father. Moonies have not only accepted a False Christ, but a False Gospel as well! This church in no way can be considered Christian.

~Without going into unnecessary detail, let me briefly ouline a few more of the UC's heretical doctrines. Jesus did not go to Heaven, this is such a foolish idea, as the Bible states quite clearly that Jesus did in fact go to Heaven after leaving the Earth. The Moonies want to claim that Paradise is actually a lower realm of the Spirit World than heaven is. Moon teaches that you have to be married to go to Heaven. Jesus was not married and therefore went not to Heaven, but to Paradise. We have a contradiction now to resolve. If the Moonies are right, then the Bible is untrustworthy, because though Jesus said He was going to Paradise, in other verses He said that He had "come from Heaven" and will "return to Heaven". He also went to sit at the right hand of the Father "in Heaven", so if Jesus isn't in Heaven, then neither is God. The Bible however (Hundreds Of Times) says that God is in heaven.

~So if God the Father is in heaven and God the Son, "returned" to Heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father, then Jesus of course is in Heaven. Stephen before he was stoned to death for his faith in Jesus Christ, proclaimed "I see heaven opened and The Son of Man standing beside the Throne of God. Stephen saw Jesus "in Heaven" exactly where Jesus said He was going. Accordingly, with all the evidence that Jesus is in fact in Heaven, then we must accept that Paradise is simply Jesus' description of Heaven. Heaven is Paradise, because Heaven truly is a Paradise. That is in accord with the Bible. The Bible is truthful, Jesus is truthful, our Heavenly Father is truthful, it is Moon who is the deceiver.

~Additionally it is taught that Moon gave Jesus Christ a physical Moonie wife and married Jesus to her. She is an oriental member of the UC. Jesus however said something different about life in Heaven:

Matthew 22:29-30 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. 30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven

~Notice that Jesus says that not even in the resurrection will anyone marry. Moon says that he has married people in the spirit world, after their death, but here Jesus tells us that when people are resurrected (after death) they will not marry but live as the angels. This is because the supreme purpose of sexual relations is procreation. Without a physical body (as we will live in heaven) there is no need to procreate. We will live eternally and our desires will be only for God Himself, not for physical love. Moon's promise, speaks to our physical weaknesses. Many people want to believe possibly that they will have sex forever or stay married even in heaven. But the more we experience God's perfect love, we desire that more than any other type of love.

~Paul never married, because his joy was to experience Christ and do his will, Paul is the perfect example of deep love for God that is more powerful than Earthly pleasures. Moon is a physically oriented person that lives for Earthly things, as is proven in his luxurious lifestyle in his mansions throughout the world at the expense of his members lives, and his fixation on women's anatomy in his speeches to his followers.
