~Sun Myung Moon has become an important force in the world. For those who are learning about these things for the first time, the response will be one of astonishment. It is almost inconceivable that a figure as repulsive and bizarre as Rev. Moon has achieved the enormous influence he has. When I speak to people about things like former U.S. President George Bush accepting enormous speaking fees from Moon and traveling throughout South America on Moon's behalf, and even calling Moon "The man with the vision.", people are astounded. As I continue to name the names and list those that are participating in various ways with Moon, jaws drop to the floor. I am sure, that it is hard for many of those people to even believe I could be telling them the truth, because it sounds too unbelievable to them. "Why haven't I been hearing more about this on the news? is one of the typical responses. The answer is complicated. The sad reality, is that in what could be called The Dumbing Down Of America over the years, fewer and fewer Americans even bother to read the news or become well educated on political issues. Another reason is that even when people do see the reports, they are quickly forgotten and public interest moves somewhere else. Some of this occurs simply because it seems so unbelievable that a man that wears a burger-king style carboard crown, and marries tens of thousands of people in Mass Marriage spectacles, could have that kind of influence on our nation. One is torn between laughing at Moon's ridiculousness and fearing his accomplishments. Is this even real?

Fidel Castro may have been content living in America as a professional baseball player, had he not been cut and told he wasn't good enough for the majors. He decided to return to Cuba where he eventually became successful in a political overthrow of the corrupt government, and turned Cuba into the nearest Communist country to our nation. Yes, people really can rise from "nowhere" to menace the world and seek to manipulate it toward their own ends. The stories of these occcurences are numerous. Here is one of them...
