Why God Takes Children

When God calls little children
to dwell with Him above,
We mortals sometimes question
the wisdom of His love.
For no heartache compares with,
the death of one small child.
Who does so much to make our world,
seems so wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires of calling
the aged to His fold.
So He picks a rosebud
before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them,
and so He takes but few.
To make the land of Heaven
more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult
sill somehow we must try.
The saddest word mankind knows
will always be Good-bye.
So when a little child departs,
we who are left behind,
Must realize God loves Children.

To show us how to live, to teach us how to give

Here is the picture of a very good friend of mine - she was and still is a big sister to me, and she is very well loved by all her family and friends and is truly missed by all of us. Her name is Carmen aka Mimi, and I know deep in my heart she is in heaven. You know how they say the good die young... well Mimi sure was good, and I miss her so much. She passed on 2-2-05 and left behind 4 beautiful children, Shanadi, Crissy, Chucky, and Goldo, as well as a husband, Chris, and mom and dad and 3 brothers, Chipo, Mickey, and Carlos, as well as friends and other members of the family. Mimi always made me feel like I was someone, and she was the one and only who never judged any one. She befriended you for who you are and not play you out. She took care of my grandma when she was really sick and talked to me when I felt lost. When my son Romelo passed, she felt where I was commin from and told me everything was gonna be ok. Then when I had Nikko, Mimi told my aunt she was going to come and see my new baby, but at that time she was suffering from headaches. This was the day before she passed away. I was gonna go to the hospital, but what had happen it was too late I thought, but then again I thought I couldn't go up to see her. So to avoid me arguing and having flashbacks (because it was at the very same hospital where I lost my son), I waited to the next day, but by then the time was too late.

I miss Mimi with all my heart and soul and remember all the good memories I was blessed to share with her, and to know that everytime the sun shines down on us, it is Mimi hugging us and letting us know she is with us and looking down upon us. So to her family and friends, I want to thank you for sharing her life with me and my kids, and always remember I'm here when ever you should need me. You guys are my family as well, and I love ya with all my heart, so remember
I'm here for you whenever.....
