In this Barney photo, the enclosed walkway between the Little Red Shop and the brick building with the tower (a bell tower, perhaps???) can be seen on the right. If your eyes are better than mine you might be able to make out the Little Red but I can't. From the views taken from other directions, though, I'd say it's got to be there. That might be part of the addition to it that can be seen near the end of the walkway. The Barney pictures were made as glass slides; not glass negatives--glass slides intended to be used with a projector. They were brought to us by Arthur Allen when we were working on our book on Hopedale. About fifty of the slides were made into prints and many were used in the book. Back Next Red Shop Menu HOME |
