The two postcard pictures of the Hope Street Bridge at the top were probably taken around 1910. The third picture, showing the bridge going left to right across the middle, was taken in 1964. The two at the bottom were taken from the remains of the approach to the west end of the bridge. The other end was next to the library, and the east end of Hope Street remains on the north side of the Community House. In these pictures, the bridge would have gone a little to the right of the library, and left of the Harrison Block, the brick building where the pizza place is now.
