The Little Red Shop was moved from the west side of Hopedale Pond to its present location at the corner of Hopedale and Freedom streets in 1951. It has been said that the purpose of the move was to give it a more prominent location for its new use as a Draper museum. I believe the pictures on this page were taken in 1953.
