This doll carriage parade was held in 1923. The picture was taken near the corner of Dutcher and Social streets. There is an ad in the 1918 Milford-Hopedale directory for a grocery store at 34 Dutcher Street. It must have been in the little building between the restaurant and the house in this picture. Both the restaurant and the store were razed long ago. The lot was vacant for decades, but a two car garage was built there not too many years ago. The house with the dormer in the front is still there.                           Businesses in 1918                    HOME
