Birdsfoot trefoil.  When we go to Maine, there are times when we can drive for many miles and seldom be out of sight of patches of it growing beside the road.  Around here, it isn't as common.  From the areas where I've seen it growning, I suspect that it may do better in sandy soil.   These photos were taken in the overgrown area along Lapworth Circle, across from the end of Tillotson. I've also seen a little of it near the parking lot at Memorial School. (The lot at the new main entrance, off of Prospect Street.)
