These lady's slippers were photographed in the Parklands.  There are some on the east side and some on the west. There are just one or two in most locations, but not far from the Rustic Bridge, there's a patch of about a dozen. According to my wildflower  book, it flowers from April to July.  In 2006 I saw them in seven locations in the Parklands.
