Wonderful site Kathy! Not related to any Garners but what an interesting history!
Kathy and I used to work together several years ago and she convinced me to
plug our own personal site in the Caribbean. My husband and I moved to the
Caribbean nearly 3 yrs. ago from B.C., Canada and started a new exciting
business in the West French Indies. Yes! That's right! We moved to Guadeloupe
situated just south of Antiqua. We built a small tourist accommodation
consisting of 4 apartments and 2 studios. Check out our personal page! It is
absolutely gorgeous here - not a concrete jungle like so many other tropical

I'm very impressed! I clicked on to your site for the simple reason that I saw
a name I knew 'Darlow', my surprise was complete when I also saw 'George'. I'll
explain, I am going to be a genealogists nightmare sometime in the next hundred
years or so. I was married 1st to Pe er Darlow, we had two sons, I then married
Alexander George, one son. I can see a familiar likeness to Queenie, she
resembles the daughter of Alexanders 1st wife. I can give information on where
to look for this branch of George if it would help. The Darlow branch came from

Hi! That is a fascinating mystery about your grandmother's family - best of
luck! My mother was stumped on some German ancestors for ages but had such a
breakthrough that (nearly twenty years on) she is something of an expert on
German Immigrants to the Rutherglen Area in Victoria, Australia - and their
German ancestors. I am looking at doing a web-page for her research with FAQ as
she gets so many letters and has no time to answer them all and, so, am surfing
about looking at other Genealogy pages. I ove your skeleton in the closet - I
must try and devise a suitable graphic for an interesting story of our own.
I'll hope you'll come and visit us when I get it up and running. It won't be
the page above - that's my first webpage and all for my dog(!) - but I suspect

G.G.Grandmother was Mary Bauchop born Dunipace,Scotland and came to Paisley
with her family about 1840.Nice to find someone with this surname in their
family tree.
