In this tutorial we will learn how to make a shelf scarf using only Paint Shop Pro. Please download the lace file we will use by clicking here.
Open a new Image 200x200
Create a new Layer called Scarf
Set foreground color to the color you want to be the main scarf color.
For this tutorial I am using #004040
Using Preset shape tool set to triangle (Filled, Antialias unchecked)
Draw a long triangle on image
Image Flip
You should now have an image that looks like this:
Select your triangle using magic wand tool
Go to Images --> Texture with these settings:
Deselect triangle
Create a new layer named Lace
Open Lace file Copy and paste to Lace layer as new selection.
Click on the deformation tool and adjust the lace until it fits to one side of the scarf
Apply the deformation.
Copy and paste the "deformed" lace as a new selection
Go to Image Mirror
Set up the other side of the scarf
Select all
Apply drop shadow to the lace
Merge layers and you're done!
