Jackson Mini-Reunion 2004

For many years now Veterans of the 275th Armored Field Artillery Battalion living in the Jackson ,and Hardeman County area have held little get-togethers in Jackson, Tennessee. Ken Stevens and his lovely wife, Ruth, have done an outstanding job of hosting the local veterans and in the last few years have opened the invitations to all veterans of the 275th Armored Field Artillery.

The fine folks at the HAMPTON INN in Jackson have made our stays with them very pleasant and this year was no different. Except that they seem to have gone the extra mile this year. They even accomodated the Tennessee National Guard in letting them tow a 155MM Howitzer into their parking lot to display for the veterans.

Each 275th veteran was presented with a special medal and membership certificate to The Order of Saint Barbara, which is an honorary military society of the United States Field Artillery Association , while at the Jackson, TN Mini-Reunion, November 6, 2004.

Ruth Stevens was inducted as a member of the Molly Pitcher Society.
