The ButterFly Butterfly by Clara Sudas In the dew of the morning glow, I feel the colors and the different hues of the wings, The beauty of simple pleasure and awakenings. The beauty of the Simple butterfly. Watching you fly- blending and merging. With the colored flowers. Flowing, wings clapping in the breeze As this early April day goes by. Like you I have to learn to let go It's like piercing the barriers and limitations of the safe cocoon To truly be the beautiful butterfly. From caterpillar to butterfly - A journey well experienced and watched With each step we've learned a little bit To let go and fly. Somewhere deep in my heart, the ache of the old still holds me My little butterfly, tell me, How to transcend the barriers and protection of the safe cocoon. Where does the piercing starts? Where does the fear and old patterns stop? How to transcend - indeed. The last step from Caterpillar to Butterfly   I have always admired and loved the butterfly, it represents so much to me.It is change, transformation, evolvement and beauty all wrapped up in one. The universe works in such a marvelous way, always supplying us with signs, signals and images, inspiration to help us move through what we need to move through. Working with Laoshi and Jeanne I have often get images of the different states as the butterfly we each were in and as a whole the different state we were in energetically. And slowly I started to realize the universe was providing me with a very powerful (image) tool here. To realize many things I wasn't able to see before I understood this metaphor, so now I like to check and ask myself "Which stage are you in Clara as the butterfly?" Am I a caterpillar trying to blend and fit in with my surroundings to remain safe? Or growing, getting ready to hibernate in a self-spun cocoon? Nourishing myself and setting a foundation? Have I arrived at the stage when I am ready to break out of that cocoon? Do I see myself as a beautiful butterfly? Am I exploring the world and its bountiful beauty? And what is my next stage from here? When we move to our next stage of development we let go of WHAT WAS. Letting go and forgiveness go hand in hand, and that is why the tool of Forgiveness came now and is so much a part of our Hochi tools. If we let go of a person or situation, they no longer cause us pain, resentment or anger.  If we are no longer resentful or angry, then haven't we forgiven them? Letting go is to let the investment or power of the past and ill-fitting emotional attachments dissolve so we can feel and experience oneness with god/goddess all there is, or who ever your god is once again. In the case of special relationships, letting go and forgiving frees us from being in the shadow of someone else. We often think that someone other than ourselves has something we need, or something we can change, for the betterment of them and us! Letting go and forgiveness is transcending the walls of limitations and protection of the cocoon to become the true essence of beauty, joy and freedom we see in each butterfly. See the beauty of the universe in the colors and hues of a butterfly's delicate wings as they blend without boundaries from one vibrant flower to the next. The awe I feel at the sight! It enables me to touch upon the love I have deep inside, as one with all there is. When we let go and forgive in a close relationship we experience the miracle of peace and love immediately within ourselves. All control, possessiveness, jealousy or the feelings of sadness, frustration, and the indescribable feeling of "missing" dissolve. All of this is a reminder of a miracle, to recognize that our only essence is love. This miracle of the butterfly is a symbolic reminder of our transformation through all stages in all relationships, whether it is with others or with the self, to transform where we are, to a holy oneness with the universe, or to let go of our own self-imposed prison cell. The miracle of the butterfly is the knowing that we are one with each other and with god/goddess all that is now and forever.
