Why can't I use the right
click??
First of all, some of you
may be asking, "What is she talking about, right click?" It is a
feature of your mouse that lets you do all kinds of things!
If you
right click on a graphic, a list comes up that lets you do a number of
things, one of which is save a particular graphic on your hard
drive. You can also highlight a section of text and copy it, and
then paste it to a document!
However, on my pages, I have disabled
that feature. There are a couple of reasons I have done
that.
First of all, most of the graphics I use are what is called
"linkware." This means that someone has made the graphic set and
will let you use it as long as you put a link back to their site.
Isn't that a wonderful arrangement!
If you will notice on almost
all of my pages, there is a link to the graphics maker at the very bottom
of the page. So if you like the graphic set, go and take a look at the
site where I got it. They have some very talented graphics makers
out there!
Some of the graphics are mine, ones I have collected
from the internet. I match each one of them to the background color
of the set I am using, so if you use them on another page, they might not
look right. If you will email me, I will be glad to send you the
graphic if it is mine.
Also, sometimes the poems are
copyrighted. I always put that on there if it is copyrighted, and
also put a link to the author's site and an email link to the
author. I always get permission to use those
poems.
If there is a copy of any poem you want, just
email me and I will gladly send it to you. If it is a copyrighted
poem, just be respectful of the copyright laws.
Ok, I have babbled
enough about why I have disabled the right click feature on my
pages! If you have any questions, just email
me.
