You are wished a Thanksgiving filled with the Spirit of Aloha.

Just as the Pilgrims celebrated the harvest with a feast of Thanksgiving, the Hawaiians signified the close of their season of harvest, called Makahiki, by giving their Mahalo to Lono, the Hawaiian god of fertility and peace.

Makahiki was and still is a time of peace and sharing.
