Steve graduated from Hofstra University with a B.A. in geology. After that, he attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale where he met Marilee. He graduated from SIU with an M.S. in geology and worked at a major oil company as a paleontologist for 11 years. After teaching geology, astronomy, and environmental science at a local community college for a few years, he is now working for Geoscience Data Management. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Steve's interests are many. He obtained his private pilot's license in 1992. He collects old cameras, airplane models and books. He is an avid reader. His main reading interests are military history, science and aeronautical history. Steve also does woodworking. He is a docent at the Holocaust Museum and an occasional tour guide at the Museum of Natural Science. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
