Tomberlin, David  POW, captured Salisbury, North Carolina, April 12, 1865; sent to Louisville, Camp Chase.  Oath as David J. Tomlin, resident of Barbour County.  Description: complexion fair, hair light, eyes blue, height 5'9.5", age 23.  In Way Hospital, Meridian, Mississippi, January 10 to April 1865 with wounds.  D.I. Tomberlin, Age 21; MR., March 27, 1862; enlisted March 10, 1862, at Clayton by D.M. Seals.  $50.00 bounty paid.

Tomberlin, Wilson  Taken from Barbour County Alabama Registry, 1893: Born Anson County, North Carolina; Age 23 at enlistment.  Participated in Shelbyville, Perryville, Chickamauga, and all of Dalton to Atlanta.  Wounded and disabled at Franklin, Tennessee of gunshot wound in right foot.

Seals; $50.00 bounty paid.  Clothing receipt dated June 30, 1864.  In Tunnel Hill Hospital and at Forsythe; diagnosis febris intermitents, July 14, 1863; in Way Hospital, January 16, 1865 of wounds.

Whiddon paroled POW on April 27, 1865 at Headquarters Cavalry Forces M.D.W.M. near Greenville, Alabama.  On hospital roll Ocmulgee Hospital, Macon, Georgia, with V.S. foot flesh; August 31; hit by cannon ball; admitted September 2, 1864; furloughed September 6, 1864.  Gunshot wound in left foot.

Wilkerson, John H (Wilkinson) POW--listed at Point Lookout, Maryland; captured at Pulaski, Tennessee, December 25, 1864; released June 6, 1865.  POW list, Camp Chase, Louisville, Department of Cumberland.  In Number 1 USA General Hospital, Nashville, Tennessee, with gunshot wound right hand by cannon ball.

Williams, William Jeff POW--Department of Cumberland, captured near Fosterville, Tennessee and forwarded to Nashville; on POW list taken at Murfreesboro, January 21, 1863; sent to City Point February 11, 1863.  On roll of POW's at Fort McHenry, Maryland, sent to Fortress Monroe, Virginia for exchange February 15, 1863.
