Baby Blue Belle

about your cuties! Baby Blue Belle is
the most playful of my custom babies, and is constantly pulling little pranks
on the other babies. Her best friend is
Baby Minty, the sweetheart of the baby ponies.
Baby Blue Belle started out as a poor condition Baby Stockings. Her hair was frizzed, her eyes were scuffed, and her symbol had a strange yellow halo around it. She also had a large permanent ink stain on her shoulder.
The first thing I did was shave off the ink stain with an X-acto blade. You’d be surprised how many layers you have to go through to get all the stain off! I also had a really hard time removing her markings, and when I dyed her blue, the color came out splotchy where the emblems were. At that point, I almost gave up on her.
Next I gave her hair from Ivy and the Baby Glory who is now Baby Majesty. I completely repainted her eyes and gave her a cute starry emblem just like her mother. Fortunately, the new emblems hid the uneven coloring. I debated on whether to give her freckles, since the other two collector pony babies have them, and decided against it. Again, I used Testors acrylic enamel, and it worked out perfectly. Voila!
