Baby
Butterscotch
Baby Butterscotch is third in my
series of Collector Pony babies, and was very easy to create. I can’t tell if she’s mischievous or not, but
she does look a little too angelic, doesn’t she? She started out as a disgruntled Baby Cotton
Candy, who had the usual faded, trimmed hair and a couple spots.
The first
thing I did was take out all her hair and wipe off her emblems with fingernail
polish remover. I decided to leave her
freckles, because I thought they’d go well with a golden complexion. Then I gave her a good bleach bath and
plopped her into some yellow dye. Next,
I painted her eyes and new emblems with Testors Acrylic Enamel in Gloss Orange.
Her hair
came from a horribly chewed-up Butterscotch that was donated to me by Lady
Minty (thanks, LM!). It only took me an
hour and a half total to give her a new mane and tail. Baby Cotton Candy always makes a good
patient. ;)
