Baby Majesty
All the
Princess Ponies can stop arguing over who will be queen: an heir is born! She’s a precocious little princess, too,
always sneaking Majesty’s crown off the dresser.
Baby Majesty is my fourth, and favorite, custom My Little
Pony. I just adore her, and making her
was truly a labor of love.
She started out as a fair condition Baby Glory. I really struggled when deciding to
customize her. Her symbols were faded,
her hair was a little dry, and she had some very small marks. Despite her flaws, she still looked
okay. After three days of agonizing, I
finally decided to go through with it.
Baby Majesty’s hair came from two Fireflies and a
Parasol. The white streak came from a
faded Baby Cotton Candy (who re-emerged as Baby Peachy). The emblem was painted with Testors acrylic
enamel, which almost perfectly matches the original paint used on MLPs (and
doesn’t stay tacky like Testors gloss enamel).
I applied nail glitter to the symbols with clear nail polish, and she
was done! I’m so proud of her—when I
set her next to Baby Glory and Baby Moondancer, it’s hard to tell she’s a
custom.
