Baby Minty
Baby Minty is probably one of the
sweetest baby ponies in Dream Valley.
Just look at her! Doesn’t she
look serene?
Like so many
of my other customs, Baby Minty started out as a poor condition Baby
Stockings. She had highlighter on her
shoulder and she looked like she had skidded across concrete, because her hip,
eye, and nose had rough scratches on one side.
I began by
removing her emblem, and like every other Baby Stockings, it was tough to
remove. Then I carved off the
highlighter mark with an X-acto blade, and smoothed the area with
sandpaper. I used the same sandpaper to
smooth the rough patches on her hip, eye, and nose.
After
removing her hair, and giving her a good soak in bleach solution, I dyed the
pony a light green. Her tail came from
a grumpy Princess Tiffany, and her mane came from a poor Twilight. Next, I painted her eyes and emblems using
Testors acrylic enamel. Baby Minty is
one of my best customs.
