What can you do to help?

Actually there are lots of things that you can do to help Smooth Fox Terrier Rescue,
   If you are in the So. California area, please contact me at: dobrasft@earthlink.net If not, then go to www.foxterrierrescue.net
and look for a FTRescue group in your area.

   If you do live in So California and would like to be a foster home,
realize that you have to have a home and lifestyle that can handle a new dog coming in with little notice. You need to know enough about the Smooth Fox Terrier to deal with one with your own dogs. If you think that you can do this, then please contact me for more information on Smooth Fox Terrier Rescue and read the article on Starting a Rescue

   If this is more than you can do, you can help in many other ways. Often we can use help in transportation, or in watching shelter websites to see if a Smooth Fox Terrier shows up there.
   All rescue groups can use financial help, so a donation
is very welcome. We are part of the American Fox Terrier Rescue, Inc. organization and a donation to them helps all Fox Terrier Rescue groups. There are vet bills, dog food, phone, transportation, advertising, etc. It can add up quickly and your donation can make a big difference.       An important part of rescue is educating the public about our breed, so when you talk to someone about your Smooth Fox Terrier, be sure to refer them to this website and to the Fox Terrier Network for more information.

We also have brochures about rescue and the Smooth Fox Terrier. If you would like some to give out to the public, your local shelter, vet or pet shop, please contact me.
