Brushing your dogs teeth is another thing you may consider doing. This can help reduce many dental problems. You can buy speically formulated tooth paste made for dogs at your local pet store or from your vet.

You can look for dental problems by examining your dogs mouth. Check for tooth discoloring, red, puffy, or bleeding gums, bad breath, and loss of teeth.
