Poems
Written by Janelle Bennett (throughout my high school years)
Guys

I hate guys with a passion
There always nagging, nagging, nagging.
They're all so out of fashion
Their pants are always sagging
I dislike the ones that smell
I wish I could tell them they need to take a shower
They make me wanna yell
They think they have all the power
I hate the guys that treat me like dirt
But don't get me wrong, some can be pretty sweet
Some would even make a pretty good flirt
Those are the guys Id like to meet

In the end, they can be pretty cool
So guys, treat us well and dont be a fool!
Home

Home is where the heart is
Dangling from a chain,
A chain of silver links
Holding up a mighty weight of love
A banner of forgiveness
To assure you're not to blame
A comforting hand
To make your worries go away
Canucks

The canucks are winning more and more
They've moved up in the standings
Have barely lost any games
The canucks are winning more and more

Horray!
The canucks just scored
They're winning 6 to 1
Horray!

They won the Stanley Cup
Made it all the way up in the playoffs
They won their final game
They won the Stanley Cup
Limericks

There once was a teacher at school
who made everyone look like a fool
she marked everyone bad
and made everyone mad
she was forced to change her rule

There once was a cloud
who was very loud
he was in a race and won
racing against the sun
he was so very proud
