This is a set of backgrounds focusing around the images from the closing sequence. They really capture the the feel of the series. Each features an image over the same image as a background with a darker band on the right side for icons.
The Real Folk Blues
Spike sits on some steps in the rain as a child runs by. Grey and blue.
The Real Folk Blues
Spike leans wearily against a wall in profile. Not my favorite. Grey ane blue
The Real Folk Blues
Spike and Vicious back to back on either side of a chainlink fence. This is my favorite of this set. Grey and blue.
The Real Folk Blues
Spike reclines on a city bench smoking a cigarette. My second favorite. Grey and blue.
The Real Folk Blues
Spike and Julia return to her? apartment. Grey and blue.
These background don't belong to a set.
Childhood's end
This is simpley a page from one of the art books. A teal background with seven small images of Ed and a box of text. The section of the book is entitled childhood's end, this background captures that feeling, it's playful but just a little sad, a bit like fall. There is some shmutzy work up at the top of the image, but it's covered by the menu bar. Teal and full colour.
Jet Black
Another artbook page. This one focusing on Jet. There are after all too few Jet backgrounds out there. This one has a sort of woody smoky feel very nice. It's a patchworky yellow background with a band of pictures from the series, a strip of text and a band of Jet's eyes across the center. Yellow and full colour.
Manga Faye
I do not as a rule enjoy manga made of series. I didn't enjoy this one either but I love this image. Faye looks over her shoulder looking put upon. This image against a white background with a wide band of colour and her name. One of my favorites. Coloured by yours-truely and scanned from the German language manga so this image is owned by Carlson Comics. Full colour on white.
