Ham Broccolli Rolls |
1 head steamed broccoli with stems Sauce: 1 tbsp. butter 1 tbsp. flour 1/2 c. milk 1 egg yolk 1/4 tsp. Lea and Perrins 1 tsp. horseradish 1 tsp. mustard (or eliminate horseradish and use 2 tsp. dijon mustard) 1 tsp. minced onion 1 c. pineapple juice |
1. Place swiss cheese and broccoli on two slices of ham, securing with tooth picks. 2. In a small sauce pan over low heat, melt butter. Stir in flour and simmer for 5 minutes. 3. Add mustard, horseradish, worchestershire, and onion. Mix well. The mixture will be thick. 4. Add the egg yolk to the pineapple juice. Mix. Add to the sauce pan. Mix well to remove all lumps. Heat for 5 minutes5. Add milk and stir until sauce is rich and creamy. 6. Pour the sauce over broccoli rolls. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. |
