GREG IS LOOKING DOWN UPON US SAYING; "I TOLD YOU THE VOLS WERE NUMBER 1---RAH, RAH, RAH, WAY TO GO VOLS."

"GREG" LITTRELL
SEPT. 13,1979 - SEPT. 25,1997
Greg was a loyal Tennessee Volunteer fan.  He loved to watch Vols. football and basketball.  I can still hear him cheer whenever they would score a touchdown or hit a three pointer.  He wore clothing with the Tennessee Vols. logo much of the time.  This picture of Greg was taken September 13, 1997 at his 18th birthday surprise party.  We had just arrived at the restaurant and the picture shows his surprise.  As usual, Greg was dressed in a Vols. T-shirt and wearing a Vols. football cap.  He was even wearing a pair of shoes with the Vols. logo on them.  When he died he was wearing his Vols.shoes.  Greg received many Vols. items for his birthday.  He had the opportunity to wear very few of them.  For his funeral he wore a Vols. sweatshirt and had the cap that is in the picture in his hand.  He also had a handmade toy airplane, that was made for him by one of his favorite friends, placed in casket with his body.  It too was orange and white.  Vols, of course.
I will watch the Tennessee Volunteers play football for the national championship.  I will be watching it without Greg's physical presence but he will be in my heart and on my mind.  I will cheer extra loudly because I know that, if it is possible, GREG WILL BE WATCHING..
