My name is Doug Slate.  I live in Pulaski Virginia.  I was born in 1960.  I have been into computers since about 1981.  The first computer I had was a Tandy  PC-1 (Pocket Computer) and I still have it.  I learned to program in BASIC on the PC-1. I then moved to a TI-99/4A,  Which I didn't think much of. My next computer was an Atari 600XL,  Now that was a nice brand of computers. I then went through an Atari 800XL,  Atari 130XE,  Radio Shack 1000HX and then to an IBM PS/1 486DX33.  That was a jump wasn't it? From a 1000HX to a 486! I have continued to upgrade over and over.

My nephew Chris is on the Web also. He likes Racing and Caving. He Races Go-Karts.
