| Downers Grove Family Readiness Group |
| The Mission of the Downers Grove FRG (Family Readiness Group) is to provide assistance to soldiers and their families who are assigned to the Downers Grove Recruiting Company, which includes Recruiting Stations located in Downers Grove, Aurora, Naperville, Glendale Heights, Crest Hill and Lyons. This support is escpecially needed during periods of seperation. Our family support group does this by providing numerous services. A few examples include providing communication between the Downers Grove Recruiting Company and their families as well as improving family awareness. One of our most important goals is to encourage participation of family members and activities that support the recruiting company's mission. |

| Commanders Cornner Welcome! I am excited about the new year and am looking forward to the many ideas that have been presented. Thanks for those who have contributed. The BN ATC is coming up and looks to be a good time. Evening childcare has been paid for this year. A couple of sister companies are talking with us about getting one DJ - again lowering costs. At this time, the only cost to families are the Saturday evening costs as well. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the Thanksgiving Potluck.
