Welcome to the Down Under Digest of our two week whirlwind tour of New Zealand and Australia. (I apologize if parts do not work - Geocities recently has been randomly losing some of my files.) Northland: visit the coastline areas of Tutukaka and the Bay of Islands, enjoy the rolling hills, fields of sheep, and towering lush forests.

 

Rotorua: see the surrealistic landscape of the geothermal areas and learn about the native Maori culture.

 

Coromandel: enjoy the beautiful coastline of this peninsula.

 

Auckland: city life in New Zealand.

Sydney: the harbor, Taronga Zoo, Opera House, and Harbor Bridge.

 

Ayers Rock: a journey into the outback, to see the amazing rock formations of the Olgas and Ayers Rock where Aborigine culture is centered.

 

Cairns: visit both the rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef.
